Hello everyone! I leave for Tanzania on June 13th, which is coming up very soon! I am very excited for the trip but also slightly nervous. I have made so many new friends already, who I will be going to Africa with. I really need to make a list of things I still need to do before I leave, but that will most likely be a last minute thing. I'm almost done with my last assignment for the class I've been taking since March (Anthropology and History of Africa). When I get back from the trip on July 16th I have to finish my research paper, then I will be done. There will be little to no internet connection while I am abroad, so I plan on writing everything down then posting things after my trip. I plan on taking plenty of pictures, especially when we go on the safari at the end of our trip. I have already learned so much about the African culture and how different their lives are compared to ours. Now I am just excited to experience it first hand, meet the locals, and learn more!
