First Morning
Today was our first morning in Africa. We woke up around 7am and had breakfast as a group. This consisted of a crepe looking thing called a chipote (not sure if that is even spelled correctly), peanut butter, and bananas. After we ate we got in the vehicles and drove to the bank to exchange our money for shillings then we went into market. Here is where people from the group bought tracphone type things to use while they were away. As a group we also looked around and bought fabric to get skirts and other various things made. This was a long process because nobody is ever in a hurry in Africa, which is completely fine with me. Afterwards, we went back to the house to have some lunch then walked to the other market that was about 10 mins away from where we were staying. This market was called Mooshaka (again not confident if that is the correct spelling). I got two skirts made at this market and passed out silly bandz to the little kids. They absolutely loved them! When we got back we ate dinner and had reflection.
