June 26th

Today we spent the day visiting orphans. One of the girls in our group videotaped the orphans for her research project which is pretty neat. The orphans we saw today were two twin girls. When I say orphans I mean that they lost one parent. These girls lost there mother and Dr.Winkler is supporting  them and sending them to school. Their family invited us into there home and we sat down for soda and some ground nuts. They also presented us with gifts to take back to the place we were staying. I brought things to give the orphans such as colored pens, scissors, and other items. I didn't pick who we gave them to but Dr.Winkler just so happened to choose them so it worked out.
