June 28th

Today was a pretty exciting day. I was at the maternity ward all day. I started going to the maternity ward on June 25th and I like it so far. But today after rounds I was able to go to Theatre, which is where surgeries take place and watch two c-sections. The surgeries were pretty exciting for the most part. We were standing still for 3 hours so it was kind of exhausting. The first c-section was an emergency c-section, and the baby had already passed away. But the second c-section had no complications at all. Out of 14 students only three of us will be able to watch a surgery because we need one of the professors to be with us.
