July 10th

Today was my last day at Nyakahanga hospital and it was quite emotional. For some reason I felt the need to cry about everything, but I didn't actually cry. Today started off like any other weekday and we said our goodbyes and thank you's to everyone at chapel. I saw alot of new things on the maternity ward, some good and some sad. Before I left the ward I gave the charge nurse a thank you card addressed to the entire staff and some pictures. She immediately posted them on the bulletin board for everyone to see. She wanted to see more pictures so I showed her some of them off of my phone and she was sad to see me go. Everyone wanted me to come back each time I said goodbye. When we came home we had our last dinner, and our last discussion. Tomorrow we leave at 7:30am for Bukoba.
